A building with many lives
Behind the doors of Hotel Casa Tere lies a remarkable legacy dating back more than 200 years to the colonial era. This historic building, which today welcomes guests with the warmth of contemporary design, began its journey as the home of a traditional local fishing family. Over the years, the property was transformed into a tobacco factory, adding a new layer of industrious character to the historic Getsemaní neighborhood, before eventually passing into the hands of Doña Tere, the beloved woman from whom this charming hotel takes its name.
